Welcome!
This website is a wonderful resource for assessments for English as a Second Language (ESL) students. The Michigan English Language Proficiency (MIELP) Standards has established guidelines in the proficiency of English Language Learners' (ELL’s) speaking abilities. These guidelines were separated into four aspects of language that are vital, which are listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This website contains example assessments, resources, and information for each of the four domains in ESL. There is also a general tab that provides general examinations that are used placement and final examination of ESL students. Guidelines and diagnostic exams vary by state but regardless of where your are from, this website offers resources for all curious about ESL.
